Head Coach Tony Cianciola
Northview has had the privilege of calling Coach Tony Cianciola part of the team since it’s opening in 2002. During school hours you will find him in the classroom teaching Health or in the gym teaching Physical Education. In addition to his role as Head Cross Country coach, Coach Cianciola also serves as Head Coach for the swim team. Prior to coaching cross country, he was the Head Boys Soccer Coach for twelve years.
Coach C, as he prefers to be called, has a long history of competitive running, which began back in high school in Plano, TX, where he ran both Cross Country and Track. On the track, his main event was the 800 “and back then…25 years ago, whatever the coach needed me in.” His love of running has continued on in the form of triathlons, which he has run since college, and he has competed in several Ironman Competitions, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
Prior to his time at Northview, Coach Cianciola coached Girls Soccer at Centennial from 1996-2001, Varsity Soccer at Chattahoochee from 1994-1996 and prior to that he was the Intramural Sports Director at Holcomb Bridge and Northwestern Middle School.
Coach C has a Bachelor's Degree from Georgia State University in Health and Physical Education, a Master’s Degree from The University of Alabama in Health Studies, and an Educational Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Educational Leadership.
Assistant Coach Stephanie Rogman
This is Coach Rogman's 2nd year coaching the Titans. Coach Rogman grew up in Schnecksville, PA and picked up the running bug in high school. She continued running at Ursinus College, where she majored in Biology, and completed her studies at Villanova with a Masters in Biology. It was not until later that Coach Rogman decided to go into teaching and went back to school to receive her teaching certificate. She currently teaches 9th grade Biology at Northview.
Since she started running, the sport has been a big part of her life as an activity to clear her mind and share with friends. Coach Rogman has run several marathons and is hoping to run several more.
