Head Coach Tony Cianciola
Northview has had the privilege of calling Coach Tony Cianciola part of the team since it’s opening in 2002. During school hours you will find him in the classroom teaching Health or in the gym teaching Physical Education. Prior to coaching cross country, he was the Head Boys Soccer Coach for twelve years.
Coach C, as he prefers to be called, has a long history of competitive running, which began back in high school in Plano, TX, where he ran both Cross Country and Track. On the track, his main event was the 800 “and back then…25 years ago, whatever the coach needed me in.” His love of running has continued on in the form of triathlons, which he has run since college, and he has competed in several Ironman Competitions, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
Prior to his time at Northview, Coach Cianciola coached Girls Soccer at Centennial from 1996-2001, Varsity Soccer at Chattahoochee from 1994-1996 and prior to that he was the Intramural Sports Director at Holcomb Bridge and Northwestern Middle School.
